According to Raj Kundra, profits from Bastian are not used for personal expenses or personal income. He stated that neither he nor Shilpa take salaries or dividends from the business. All earnings from the restaurant are invested in opening new outlets, improving facilities, and growing the brand. Thanks to this strategy, Bastian, which began as a single restaurant, has now expanded its presence to several major cities. Business experts have long believed that a policy of continuous reinvestment plays a crucial role in the rapid growth of any brand.

Vastu check is done before opening a new outlet

During the conversation, Raj Kundra also revealed that Vastu holds special importance for him. He said that before opening any new restaurant, a designated Vastu expert and pandit inspect the entire space. Only when everything is deemed favorable, is a new outlet launched. In the same conversation, astrologer and Vastu expert Jaya Madan claimed that upon seeing Bastian’s first outlet, she had predicted that it would become a major brand in the future.
