At the Gram Vikas Chaupal held in Bida Gram Panchayat of Udaipur district, important topics such as rural development, women’s empowerment, agricultural innovation, and youth employment were discussed in detail. On this occasion, women, farmers, livestock farmers, senior citizens, and youth were interacted with to solicit their suggestions and expectations.
The ‘Lakhpati Didi’ Scheme is Increasing Women’s Self-Reliance
The program highlighted that women from self-help groups associated with Rajivika and beneficiaries of the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ Scheme are strengthening the rural economy and setting new examples of women’s empowerment. The government is continuously working to promote women’s safety, dignity, health, education, and self-employment.
Special Focus on the Development of Farmers and Youth
The Chaupal emphasized increasing farmers’ income by promoting innovation in agriculture, micro-irrigation techniques, and advanced animal husbandry. Furthermore, providing better education, skill development, and new employment opportunities for youth was highlighted as the government’s priority.
From a ‘Developed Rajasthan’ to a ‘Developed India’
Speakers stated that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the commitment to a ‘Developed Rajasthan’ to a ‘Developed India’ is being realized through the holistic development of villages, the poor, farmers, and youth. Rural development and public participation were described as the cornerstones of this goal.

Tribal Area Development and Home Defense Minister Babulal Kharari, Revenue and Colonization Minister Hemant Meena, along with other public representatives and a large number of villagers were present at the event. Various issues to rural development were discussed and suggestions were invited to accelerate local development.
