Lock Upp 2: Akanksha Choudhary recalls being abandoned by her family at 19; says, 'I was asked to leave the house'

Akanksha Choudhary , who was recently evicted from Lock Upp 2 , made a deeply emotional and shocking revelation about her personal life. During a podcast with Tejasswi Prakash , the reality show contestant opened up about her personal life.
She recalled how she was asked to leave her home at the age of 19 after standing up for her mother during a difficult situation.
She shared, “When I was 19, I was abandoned by my family because I took a stand for my mother. Unko kisi ne bohot kuch bura bol diya tha. Toh main wo dekh nahi payi. Aur phir maine bohot badtameezi kari aur maine bohot ulta-sidha bola us insaan ko.”
(“Someone had said very bad things about my mother. I couldn’t tolerate it, and I reacted angrily and spoke harshly to that person.”)
Akanksha further revealed the emotional state of her mother during that time, saying, “Mummy meri health-wise was not doing well, mentally also she was a little not doing well.”
(“My mother was not well physically, and mentally too she wasn’t in a good state.”)
She added that she reached out to her father for support, but the situation took an unexpected turn. “So maine papa ko call kiya, maine papa ko bulaya. And I was asked to leave the house. And kyunki wo bol rahe the ki maybe tu chali jaayegi toh sab sahi ho jaayega. This was the exact wording.”
(“I called my father and asked him to come, but instead, I was asked to leave the house. They said maybe if I leave, everything will become okay.”)
However, things changed when her mother struggled to stay without her. “Aur us ghar mein phir mummy bhi nahi reh pa rahi thi. Toh mummy ne ro do kar, maine bhi ro do kar. Mummy ka bhi mere bina mann nahi lagta tha. Mummy ne mujhe bula liya wapas. Aur phir main wapas reh gayi.”
(“My mother couldn’t stay in that house without me. We both cried, and she couldn’t stay without me, so she called me back, and I returned home.”)
Despite returning, Akanksha revealed that things never truly went back to normal. “But still I don’t have a room that I was, matlab. Jab bhi main jaati hoon, mera samaan bhi in the Bhagwan ji ke room mein rehta hai mera samaan. Mummy papa ke beech mein hi soti hoon, 24 saal ki ho gayi.”
(“Even now, I don’t have my own room. Whenever I go home, my belongings are kept in the prayer room, and I sleep between my parents even at the age of 24.”)
