Reliance Jio has launched its new smart tracking device, the JioTag2, in the Indian market. It is a compact gadget that allows users to easily track essential everyday items such as bags, wallets, keys, or other electronic devices. The company had previously introduced the JioTag in 2023, and its new version has now arrived in the market with several new features.

**Compatible with both Android and iPhone**
The JioTag2 has been designed as a multi-platform tracker, making it useful for both Android and iPhone users. The device works with the Apple Find My and Google Find My Device networks. This means that if your item goes missing, these networks make it easier to locate it.

**Features of the JioTag2**
The JioTag2 comes equipped with several features that simplify tracking. It utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, resulting in minimal battery consumption. Additionally, it supports a global community network; even if your item moves beyond the standard Bluetooth range, this community network helps locate it.

**Loud 120dB buzzer makes finding items easy**
If your item is nearby but out of sight, the JioTag2’s built-in 120dB buzzer proves very useful. Issuing a "Play Sound" command via the mobile app causes the tracker to emit a loud sound, making it easy to locate the item.

**No SIM or recharge required**
The standout feature of the JioTag2 is that it does not require a SIM card. It relies entirely on a tracking system based on the beaconing protocol, so users do not need to worry about monthly plans or recharges.

**Battery lasts a full year**
The device holds an IP64 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water splashes. The company claims that its replaceable battery can last for a full year on a single installation. A bonus is that the battery is included in the retail box.
