Khatron Ke Khiladi 15: Gaurav Khanna suffers painful laser burns on his back during a stunt; calls it the 'Most Painful Experience Ever'

The latest episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 was quite a painful experience for the contestants as they performed an intense body-blocking stunt involving high-speed balls. Hosted by Rohit Shetty , the stunt-based reality show premiered on August 1. Gaurav Khanna's journey began on a difficult note as he injured his back while performing one of the stunts. After the episode was aired Gaurav Khanna shared a video of his injured back on his social media account, leaving fans shocked.

He also thanked Orry for recording the video of his back injury. He captioned the clip, “I cud still feel this pain watching it on tv. Most painful experience ever. All 4 of us went through this guys... still hav these marks.”

Despite the pain, Gaurav pushed himself through the challenge, with the latest video highlighting the physical toll it took on the contestants.
Earlier, in an interview, Gaurav had revealed why his mother was against him joining the show. Speaking about it, Gaurav shared, “My mother was very worried when she found out I’m doing Khatron Ke Khiladi. During Bigg Boss, whenever things got emotionally intense inside the house, she would get stressed watching everything from outside. There were moments when she would start hyperventilating while watching me under pressure on the show.”
He further shared, “For her, Khatron Ke Khiladi felt even tougher because this isn’t just mental pressure; it’s physical as well. Her biggest concern was safety. She kept asking me what kind of stunts we’ll be doing, how everything works, and whether it’s all safe there. For the first few days, she kept telling me not to do the show. I had to reassure her that there’s a proper team handling everything and that every precaution is taken.”
The actor is recently in the news as her co-contestant Shagun Sharma has accused him of bullying her. In an interview with FilmyGyan, when asked which contestant she would not want to meet after the show, Shagun immediately took Gaurav Khanna's name. However, she also pointed out that reality shows often bring out a different side of a person.
Shagun said, "I think Gaurav Khanna is one person I would not want to meet." She also revealed the reason behind not wanting to meet the Bigg Boss 19 winner , she replied, "He was someone jinhone mujhe bhot bully kiya hai. "Let's say, for example, if five people performed a task and four of them aborted it, out of those four, he would pick on me the most."
She also alleged that he would take a dig at her for aborting stunts and pass comments, saying, "Ye to chor deti hai," "She is weak," and "Don't do this. MATLAB unhone mujhe bahot mean way mein chale jaate the. Unhone mujhe bahot bully kiya hai."
For the uninitiated, this his Gaurav's third reality show. He has already won Celebrity MasterChef, Bigg Boss 19.

Gaurav was among four contestants including Vishal Aditya Singh, Karan Wahi, Shagun Sharma who took part in a gruelling endurance challenge in which they had to brave repeated laser shots fired at their backs while staying in the task. The challenge was set to continue until two of the four contestants chose to give up. Shagun was the first to go followed by Gaurav.
