Dhanush seek blessings at Annamalaiyar Temple with sons Linga and Yatra amid 'Om' shoot - Video

Tamil star Dhanush visited the famous Annamalaiyar Temple in Tiruvannamalai during the early hours of Monday while shooting his upcoming film ‘Om Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood’. The actor was accompanied by his sons, Linga and Yatra as the father-sons offered their prayers at the holy place.
Dhanush visits temple with sonsIn a video shared by media outlet, Puthiya Thalaimurai, Dhanush can be seen getting out of his car and greeting devotees and others present there. He is seen wearing a blue kurta, a traditional outfit during his visit and his sons can be seen beside him in whites. The video shows him taking part in the Gau Puja, a traditional cow worship ritual, before offering prayers to the presiding deity. His temple visit comes as the film enters its final shooting schedule in the region.
Many people surrounded his car to take pictures and record videos. Security personnel stepped in to help him move through the crowd safely.
A few days ago, Dhanush was also spotted in Tiruvannamalai during the ongoing schedule of his film.
About ‘Om Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood’Speaking about his upcoming project, ‘Om Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood’ is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The movie features Mammootty, Sreeleela, Sai Pallavi, Naseeruddin Shah and Indrans. It also marks Naseeruddin Shah's return to Tamil cinema after 26 years.
Apart from his film shoot, Dhanush has also been making headlines over speculation about his possible entry into politics. Although the actor has not made any official announcement, his recent speech at a blood donation camp in Chennai started fresh discussions.
The film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 16.
