Gen Z players are India’s medal hope at the Asian Games

Now the question is, who is Gen Z? Gen Z refers to Generation Z. This means the players in the Indian team who were born between 1997 and 2012. There’s a long queue of such players in every Indian sporting event. After winning the Commonwealth Games in 2026, they are now eager to dominate the Asian Games as well.

Let’s take a look at the Gen Z athletes who could bring joy to India by replicating their Commonwealth Games success at the Asian Games. These athletes include Sakshi Chaudhary (boxing), Preeti Pawar (boxing), Sachin (boxing), Arundhati Chaudhary (boxing), Gyaneshwari Yadav (boxing), Jasmine (boxing), Asmita Dey (judo), and Harsh Singh (judo). These athletes were born between 1997 and 2012. This is why they will be India’s Gen Z force at the Asian Games.

In addition to these players, there are some Gen Z players who were not part of the Indian contingent at the Commonwealth Games because their sport was not held there.
