Leeds United’s second season back in the Premier League gets under way in three weeks, and transfer activity is gathering pace. Among the most recent moves, one of Leeds’ new top-flight rivals has brought in a six-foot-nine goalkeeper for £8.5m, while Crystal Palace have seen a £52m star leave.

Arsenal have completed the signings of Christos Tzolis for £34m and Illan Meslier on a free transfer after his departure from Leeds. Leandro Trossard has moved to Besiktas for £15.3m, while other permanent exits include Karl Hein. Aston Villa have strengthened by adding Johan Manzambi for £50m, Joao Gomes for £38m and Alejandro Garnacho on loan, and they have also sold Morgan Rogers to Chelsea for £117m, with Youri Tielemans joining Manchester United for £35m.

Bournemouth have signed Alvaro Rodriguez for £21m, while Marcos Senesi has gone to Tottenham and Luis Sinisterra has joined Cruizeiro. Head coach Andoni Iraola has left to take charge of Liverpool. Brentford have brought in Jannik Schuster for £17.2m, Jaidon Anthony for £17m and Callum Wilson on a free transfer, while Jordan Henderson has been released and is expected to sign for Chelsea, and Frank Onyeka has joined Coventry City for £8m.

Brighton have recruited Luka Vuskovic for £50m, Pascal Struijk for £20m and Zadok Yohanna for £21.5m, as well as Costinha. Jan Paul van Hecke has moved to Tottenham for £52m, James Milner has retired, and Joel Veltman, Solly March and Adam Webster have all left after their contracts expired.

Chelsea have appointed Xabi Alonso and signed Maxence Lacroix for £52m, Morgan Rogers for £117m and Marco Palestra for £43m, in addition to Geovany Quenda and Harrison Bettoni. Players leaving include Marc Cucurella, who has joined Real Madrid for £51.8m, Alejandro Garnacho, who has gone on loan to Aston Villa, and Tyrique George, who has moved to Everton for £18m.
