The Indian selection committee has announced a 15-member team. Harmanpreet Kaur has been entrusted with the leadership of the Indian team. She is likely to make a comeback in the Indian team in the Asian Games.

The selection committee has given a chance to leg-spinner Prema Rawat instead of Shreyanka Patil. Prema Rawat has been given a chance to replace Shreyanka in the World Cup. The full schedule of the Women’s Asia Cup has not been revealed yet. However, according to the information that has come to light, this tournament can be played in the last week of August or in the month of September. Immediately after that, the Asian Games will be organized from 17 to 22 September.
