New Delhi: Political rhetoric has intensified amid the Bankipur Assembly by-election in Bihar. Amid the election atmosphere, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Misa Bharti targeted Jan Surajya Sangh chief Prashant Kishor, calling him a “cowboy” of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She claimed that if Prashant Kishor wins the seat, it should be seen as a victory for the BJP.
Bankipur is a stronghold of the BJP.
While speaking to the media, Misa Bharti stated that Bankipur has long been a stronghold of the BJP. She stated that even if the BJP’s official candidate does not win, but Prashant Kishor wins, the political advantage will still accrue to the BJP. She also questioned the need to change candidates during the election and the reasoning behind it.
Misa Bharti raised questions on election promises
Not only this, Misa Bharti also questioned Prashant Kishore’s election promises. She said that many promises are being made to the public that will be difficult for any MLA or MP to fulfill. Citing the example of an area where development work has not been carried out for years, she said that people are being shown big dreams. She said that election promises should be based on ground realities.
Misa Bharti alleged that the people of Bihar, especially the youth and students, are being misled. She said that while people are not able to see the full picture right now, they will understand with time who is benefiting politically.
Answer given to questions raised about Tejashwi Yadav
During this, he also responded to questions raised about Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav. He said that Tejashwi Yadav’s foreign trips are often questioned, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign trips are not viewed with the same fervor. He added that in a democracy, all public representatives should be respected equally.
BJP was also accused
Misa Bharti also accused the BJP of working on multiple levels as part of a political strategy. However, she did not provide any concrete evidence to support her claims. These statements are likely to further intensify the rhetoric in Bihar politics. However, there has been no official response from Prashant Kishor or the BJP to these allegations.
