Entertainment Desk, Mumbai: Worrying news recently emerged regarding Rashmika Mandanna, the national crush and renowned actress of Bollywood and South cinema. Rashmika was seriously injured while shooting a high-energy and aggressive dance sequence for her highly anticipated action-thriller film ‘Mysaa’. Following the accident, she was completely absent from social media and public events (Missing In Action) for several days, raising concerns and questions among her millions of fans. Now, Rashmika Mandanna has broken her silence, sharing a detailed health update, revealing what exactly happened to her and her current state of health.

Rashmika Mandanna shared a series of photos and a lengthy emotional note on her official Instagram account, updating fans on her health. The actress revealed that she has suffered a serious injury to her right hip. Explaining humorously, like a biology teacher, she wrote that there are four tendons connecting our hip and leg, and a major tendon in her right hip has completely detached due to the strain. This tendon’s reconnection and healing is crucial for proper leg lift and normal mobility. Rashmika also admitted that this is her third consecutive back-to-back injury, and she now needs to learn to treat her body like a human being, not a machine.

‘God forced me to leave’: Rashmika is busy solving puzzles and spending time with her family, telling fans not to worry

Despite the severity of her injury, Rashmika Mandanna has maintained a positive attitude during this difficult time. She jokingly said that it feels as if God himself is telling her, “If left to your own devices, you’ll never take a break from work, so here I am, arranging this break for you.” She has called her recovery period a “forced holiday” and said she isn’t complaining. While resting at home, she’s spending her time solving puzzles, playing with her pet dogs, and spending quiet time with her family. She also laughingly admitted that when she can’t do heavy workouts or running, she becomes a “dessert monster” and starts eating sweets, although she’s trying her best to avoid gaining weight.

Doctors and medical experts say that serious injuries like hip tendon detachment are usually seen in professional athletes or sportspeople who engage in excessive physical exertion. The main cause is the extra strain on the muscles due to the constant and demanding action and dance sequences for films. Doctors have advised Rashmika to take complete bed rest and follow a physiotherapy and rehabilitation program for the next few weeks to allow the tendon to heal naturally.

This sudden injury has temporarily halted the shooting schedule of Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming films. She was recently seen in “Cocktail 2” and currently has a lineup of big and ambitious films, including “Mysaa,” “Ranabaali,” “Pushpa 3,” “Animal Park,” and “Rakka.” Rashmika has assured her fans that although the injury is painful, it is not unbearable. She thanked fans for their immense love and well-wishes and promised that she will return to work soon after fully recovering.
