New Delhi. The BJP has suffered a major setback in the by-election for the Bankipur assembly seat in Bihar. Prashant Kishore, founder of Jansuraj, won a landslide victory in the Bankipur seat. Kishor’s victory has significantly strengthened the opposition, prompting opposition leaders to continuously attack the BJP government.
Speaking to the media, Akhilesh Yadav targeted the BJP government. He said that the BJP conducted a completely fair election this time and did not deploy police as they did in the Kundarki, Meerapur, and Rampur by-elections. He was assessing the public’s anger. He added that he would deploy his own force when the general elections come.
He also said that after the Bankipur defeat, BJP workers have nothing left. The BJP has received a mere return gift for 12 years. He further said, “Why don’t you ask the BJP where Hanuman ji was dancing? The donation box is locked, but there’s a tunnel underneath.” Akhilesh Yadav also attacked the government on E20 petrol, saying that just as advertisements are given for the sale of vehicles, the same information should be given about E20 petrol. They should explain that it has increased mileage and reduced maintenance costs. If auto companies don’t do this, it’s clear that they are also profiting from the government.
