WhatsApp has introduced several new features designed to make group chatting more convenient for its millions of users. The company states that these updates aim to better organize group conversations, facilitate quicker decision-making, and ensure important information reaches all members easily. The new updates include enhanced controls for polls, an "@all" mention feature, and the ability to create a new group from an existing one with a single click. These features are being rolled out to users worldwide in a phased manner.

**New Controls for Polls**
WhatsApp has made its polls feature more useful than before. Users can now set an end time for any poll; voting will automatically close once the set time expires. This feature will prove highly beneficial for meetings, events, or time-sensitive decisions.

Additionally, there is now an option to hide the names of those voting in a poll, allowing participants to cast their votes without revealing their choices. Furthermore, if the poll creator notices an error in the question or needs to clarify it after posting, they can edit the question within 15 minutes, eliminating the need to create a new poll.

**Reach Everyone at Once with @all**
WhatsApp has also added an "@all" mention feature to group chats. This allows a user to send a notification to every member of the group simultaneously simply by typing "@all." This removes the need to tag each member individually for important announcements or urgent information.

However, in groups with more than 32 members, this feature will be restricted to group admins. Users who do not wish to receive such notifications can mute "@all" notifications via the app's Notification Settings.

**Create a New Group from an Existing One with a Single Click**
The company has introduced another feature to simplify group management. It is now possible to create a new group with the members of an existing group in just one step, eliminating the need to add each member individually all over again. WhatsApp keeps getting better.
This new update expands upon several of WhatsApp's existing group features. The company has previously introduced capabilities such as group message history, member tags, and event reminders. WhatsApp states that it is continuously enhancing features related to group communication and collaboration for its more than 3 billion global users.
