Mumbai. Renowned Bollywood actor Pradeep Rawat has passed away at the age of 74. He had been battling blood cancer for a long time and was undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. He breathed his last during treatment on Tuesday evening. News of his death sent shockwaves through the film industry and among fans.

According to reports, Pradeep Rawat had been undergoing cancer treatment for the past five years. His health improved temporarily after treatment, but the disease resurfaced a few months ago. He had been hospitalized for the past two months. It is reported that his funeral may take place on Wednesday.

Pradeep Rawat has played many memorable roles in films and television throughout his long acting career. He gained recognition among audiences by playing the role of Ashwatthama in B.R. Chopra’s popular serial “Mahabharata.” He subsequently appeared in popular TV shows such as Chandrakanta, Tahkiqat, Yug, and Gul Sanobar.

Pradeep Rawat gained recognition in films for his powerful voice, impressive personality, and villainous roles. His villainous role in Aamir Khan’s Ghajini is still remembered by audiences. He was also a part of films like Lagaan, Sarfarosh, Awarapan, Baiju Bawra, and Grand Masti.
