On Tuesday, the Indian-flagged ship Faiz Noor Aulia sank in the Red Sea after being attacked by Yemen’s Houthi rebels using an explosive-laden drone boat.

However, Yemeni government forces said they had rescued all crew members on board, including 13 Indians and one Yemeni national.

Meanwhile, the Indian government’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) strongly condemned the attack on the Indian-flagged merchant vessel MSV Faiz Noor Auliya off the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea. The Ministry said in a statement that the vessel sank following the attack, but all 13 Indian nationals on board were rescued safely.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy in Riyadh is closely monitoring the situation and engaging with Yemeni authorities to ensure the safety of the crew. India also expressed its gratitude to Yemeni officials for their cooperation and support in the rescue operations.
