Kerolin bid farewell to Manchester City on Tuesday afternoon before being officially unveiled as Barcelona’s new signing in a record-breaking deal.

Barcelona are understood to have paid €1.5 million, just under £1.3 million, to persuade City to let the forward leave. If that fee is confirmed, it will become a new record in women’s club football, as well as for a Brazilian player.

At 26, Kerolin is set for her second stint in Spanish football. She previously played for Madrid CFF between 2020 and 2021 before making the move to the United States.

Having been at Manchester City since the 2024/25 season, Kerolin arrives after an exceptional campaign. She scored 10 goals and registered five assists in 19 matches last season, helping the Citizens win the title.

Kerolin has signed a four-year contract with Barcelona and will become the fourth Brazilian in the club’s history.
