Materials

1/2 cup flour

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

A pinch of salt

1/4 cup milk

2 tablespoons oil or melted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

4-5 pieces of dark chocolate (for the lava)

Action

First, sift together flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Then add milk, oil or melted butter and vanilla essence to it to make a smooth mixture that does not leave lumps. Now, butter a small steel bowl or cake mold and fill it with half the mixture. Place a piece of dark chocolate in the center of each mold and add a little more mixture on it to cover the chocolate completely. Meanwhile, place a stand in a thick-bottomed pan and preheat it on low heat for 10 minutes. Then place the mold in the pan and cover it with a lid and let the cake cook on low heat for 20 to 25 minutes. Once the cake is ready, let it cool for two to three minutes. Then carefully remove it from the mold and serve it hot. As soon as you cut the cake, the melted chocolate lava will come out from inside.
