HF Deluxe becomes cheaper than its launch price

Hero MotoCorp launched the HF Deluxe Canvas Black Edition in June 2023 at a starting price of ₹60,760. The price was subsequently increased several times, reaching ₹67,634. Now, the company has reduced the price to ₹59,999. However, this new price is currently only available to customers in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. The company has not yet clarified when this offer will be applicable in other states.

97.2cc engine and mileage up to 70kmpl

The HF Deluxe continues to be powered by a 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 7.8PS of power and 8.05Nm of torque. It’s paired with a 4-speed gearbox, ensuring a smooth ride on both urban and rural roads. Suspension duties include telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers, with drum brakes on both wheels. According to the company, the bike is capable of delivering a fuel economy of around 70kmpl, making it a strong option in the commuter segment.

Honda and Bajaj will face tough challenge

Auto experts believe that this big price cut could be a part of Hero’s strategy to strengthen its hold in the entry-level commuter bike segment. Currently, there is tough competition from bikes like Honda Shine 100, Bajaj Platina 100 and TVS Sport. Hero HF Deluxe is already among the best-selling bikes in the country. In such a situation, this combination of low price and better mileage can attract more customers.
