According to the notification, this exemption has been granted under Section 78-A of the Registration Act, 1908. Under this, the land of four spinning mills of Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Spinning Mills Association Limited will be transferred in favor of the Handloom and Textiles Department, so that the work of setting up Sant Kabir Textile and Apparel Park can proceed rapidly.
According to the schedule issued by the government, 79.825 acres of land belonging to the Cooperative Spinning Mill Limited located in Amroha, 79.58 acres of land belonging to the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Spinning Mill Limited located in Baheri (Bareilly), 39.49 acres of land belonging to the Sant Kabir Cooperative Spinning Mill Limited located in Maghar (Sant Kabir Nagar) and 52.91 acres of land belonging to the Nagina Cooperative Spinning Mill Limited located in Nagina (Bijnor) will be transferred for this scheme.
