NEET-SS Registration: Following a Delhi High Court order, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has withdrawn the notice dated August 3 regarding the second round of NEET-SS 2025 counselling. This order permits the petitioner candidates to re-register and participate in the counselling process. Candidates are now awaiting further updates from the MCC and the revised counselling schedule.

In a notice, the MCC stated that this decision was taken in light of the Court's order dated August 5 in the case of *Sunil and Others vs. Medical Counselling Committee* (Writ Petition (Civil) No. 11097/2026).

The notice stated, "In its directive, the Court has permitted the petitioner candidates to re-register and participate in Round 2 of the NEET-SS 2025 counselling."

When will the registration process begin?
The MCC announced that, considering the observations and concerns of the Delhi High Court, the decision was made to withdraw the notification issued on August 3 with immediate effect. A revised counselling schedule has also been released. According to this, the resignation portal will remain open for all candidates until 4 PM on August 7.

As per the new schedule, the registration and choice-filling process for the second round of NEET-SS 2025 counselling will resume on August 9 at 10 AM. The MCC took this step following the Delhi High Court's intervention to ensure that all eligible candidates have the opportunity to participate in the counselling process.
