Vivo has reintroduced its new S-series to the Indian smartphone market with the launch of the Vivo S2. After nearly seven years, the company has launched a new smartphone in this series. The Vivo S2 boasts powerful performance, a large battery, and a premium display. The phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, 8GB of RAM, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP camera, and a large 7050mAh battery.

Vivo S2 Price and Availability
The Vivo S2 is priced starting at ₹39,999 in India. This price is for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at ₹45,999. The company has launched this smartphone in three color options: Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze, and Silk White. Customers can purchase the Vivo S2 from Vivo India’s official website, Flipkart, and select offline retail stores.

Vivo S2 Features and Specifications
The Vivo S2 features a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. This screen comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, which improves scrolling and gaming experiences. The display supports up to 3000 nits of local peak brightness, P3 wide color gamut, and 449ppi pixel density. For security, it has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

For performance, the Vivo S2 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The phone offers up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, users are supported with up to 8GB of extended RAM for better multitasking.

For photography, it features a dual camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. A 32MP selfie camera is available on the front. 4K video recording is possible with both the front and rear cameras.

The Vivo S2’s biggest highlight is its battery. The phone boasts a large 7050mAh battery, which promises long-lasting use. It supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging for quick charging. For connectivity, the Vivo S2 offers Dual 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, BeiDou, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Vivo S2 Design and Weight
The Sapphire Blue and Regal Bronze variants of the Vivo S2 are 7.99mm thick, while the Silk White model is 8.10mm thick. The phone weighs 197 grams in the Sapphire Blue and Regal Bronze colors, and 199 grams in the Silk White variant.
