Automobile Desk: A new and very special option has been added to the Indian automobile market for luxury car enthusiasts. Land Rover has officially launched its most advanced and premium SUV ‘Range Rover SV Ultra’ in the country. This new model will take its place as the top-spec variant in the company’s existing portfolio. Offered at a starting price of Rs 3.8 crore (ex-showroom), this car is in the news not only for its performance but also for its unmatched cabin experience and special cosmetic changes.

The Range Rover SV Ultra’s exterior design features an exclusive Titanium Silver paint scheme to give it a distinctive look. Satin Platinum and Silver Chrome have been beautifully applied to the body panels. Key elements such as the grille surround, Range Rover badging, wheel inserts, and skid plates are finished in this chrome and satin finish, giving it a distinct and elite look over the standard model. The side profile features 22-inch premium alloy wheels with distinctive hubcaps featuring the ‘Reverse R’ logo. However, customers looking for a more muscular look can also opt for 23-inch alloy wheels.

Speaking of the interior, the SUV’s cabin has been designed in a luxurious and high-tech manner. It features a new dual-tone theme of Orchid White and Cinder Gray. Rattan palm wood veneer and gloss white ceramic elements have been used to give the cabin a more premium touch. Furthermore, illuminated ‘SV Ultra’ sill plates are visible upon entering the vehicle. The cabin’s biggest highlight is its audio system, which includes 21 thin-film speakers. These speakers are strategically placed in the headrests, seatbacks, and headliner. This setup, combined with the ‘Body & Soul Seat’ and Sensory Floor Haptic System, provides passengers with an immersive cinema-like sound experience.

In terms of features, this SUV is equipped with the latest technology. It has a large 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display that supports wireless connectivity. There is a 13.7-inch fully digital instrument console for the driver and two separate 13.1-inch rear entertainment screens for the rear passengers. Apart from this, the cabin is equipped with features like four-zone automatic climate control, head-up display (HUD), 360-degree surround view camera, cabin air purifier, heated steering wheel and powered sunblinds for rear passengers. All seats have ventilation, massage, memory function and electronic adjustment.

Powering the vehicle is a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. This powerful engine is capable of generating a maximum power of 540 horsepower. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels (AWD system). Despite being such a massive SUV, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds. For safety and stability, its top speed is electronically limited to 261 kmph.
