Mumbai’s St Xavier’s College hosted Spider-Man: Brand New Bash as a pre-event for Malhar 2026, featuring Spider-Man-themed games, trivia, fan experiences, music and performances in partnership with Sony Pictures India.

As anticipation builds for Malhar 2026, scheduled to take place on 13th, 14th, and 15th August, St. Xavier’s College hosted Spider-Man: Brand New Bash as a pre-event in an official partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment India. The celebration also built excitement ahead of the theatrical release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on 30th July.

The event was exclusively held for Xavierites, the campus was turned into a Spider-Man-themed experience with interactive activities, fan experiences, and live entertainment. The crowd got into the spirit too, with many students turning up in red and blue and quite a few sporting Spider-Man masks, adding to the fun, larger than life vibe of the evening. The evening also featured a special performance by Rudraaksh, followed by an energetic DJsetthat kept the celebrations going.

Students participated in Spider-Man trivia questions, Spider-Man themed games, a Spider-Man photobooth, exclusive merchandise stalls, music and dance performances, which created a celebrative feeling among Spider-Man fans.

Spider-Man: Brand New Bash, as a pre-event showcased the festival’s commitment in creating memorable experiences through large-scale collaborations with leading entertainment brands. The event was successful in building excitement for both the upcoming Spider-Man film and Malhar 2026, setting the stage for one of Mumbai’s most anticipated intercollegiate cultural festivals.
