Ram Mohan Naidu: Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has completely rejected the news of mixing ethanol in aviation turbine fuel (ATF) . He said that the government has no such proposal and such news is completely misleading and irresponsible. Appealing to the people not to believe in rumours, the minister said that ethanol and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) are two different types of fuels, which should not be seen in connection with each other.
Ram Mohan Naidu: Passenger safety is the top priority of the government
Ram Mohan Naidu said that Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is an internationally recognized fuel approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) . This fuel is developed after a series of rigorous tests and procedures to meet international safety standards.
He said that spreading misinformation to the aviation sector creates unnecessary fear and confusion among passengers. The government is not considering any policy that would impact flight safety. Passenger safety and maintaining the highest standards in the aviation sector are the government’s top priorities.
