The Israeli Prime Minister announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today (Thursday). During the call, the two leaders reviewed the progress made in the India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership and reiterated their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in various areas for the mutual benefit of India and Israel.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and PM Modi also discussed the latest developments in West Asia. During the meeting, the two leaders shared their views on issues to regional security, stability and peace. Furthermore, PM Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu agreed that it is very important to maintain regular dialogue and coordination between India and Israel to deal with the ever-changing regional situation.
According to sources, during the conversation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated India’s policy of reducing tensions in the region through dialogue, diplomacy and peaceful solutions. The two leaders agreed that high-level contacts between Israel and India will continue in the future to further boost relations between the two countries and maintain close cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
The Israeli Prime Minister and PM Modi are believed to have discussed ongoing cooperation in areas such as defense, agriculture, water management, innovation, cyber security, high-tech, startups and trade. Israel and India have been steadily strengthening their partnership in these areas over the past few years. Both countries are committed to working together on new possibilities in the future.
