The detailed ownership review of the Tata Sierra.ev has been shared on YouTube by EV Yatra on their channel. It starts off with the owner of the Sierra.ev mentioning that he bought his SUV 15 days ago, following which, at the time of making this video, it has been driven over 5,000 km. Generally, most other owners do not cross the 2,000 to maximum 3,000 km mark after 15 days of ownership. However, this particular owner has driven it a lot.
After talking about the mileage on his Sierra.ev, the owner first lists out the issues with his vehicle. He starts by mentioning that one of the most annoying issues of his Sierra.ev is the constant noise which is coming from the rear right seat. In the video, he has attached the clip where we can note that the rear seat was making a squealing noise. He explains that this noise is very irritating, and the rear seat passengers cannot rest because of it.
Another issue which the owner highlights is the uneven tyre wear. He explains that, for some reason, the rear left tyre has been suffering from extremely high wear. To show the issues clearly, he firstly shows the remaining three tyres, after which he mentions that the wear on the front tyres and the rear right tyre is the same. However, this particular tyre is showing extremely high wear.
He points out that it could be an issue due to the alignment or the wheel balancing. However, he will have to take the vehicle to the service centre. Next up in the video, he also talks about the white interior of this SUV. The owner mentions that although the white dashboard, seat upholstery, and door panels look nice, they get dirty very quickly. The Sierra.ev owner continues and states that during daily usage, the white upholstery requires frequent cleaning.
Next up in the video, the owner talks about the things which he likes about the Sierra.ev. During this, the first thing which he mentions is that, unlike the Harrier.ev, which even in Eco mode uses both front and rear motors, the Sierra.ev uses only the rear motor and sends power only to the rear wheels. This increases the efficiency of the vehicle.
Apart from this, he also highlights that many people were asking him if the emergency braking has to be turned off every single time. To this, he answers by demonstrating that once the emergency braking is turned off, it does not turn on by itself. Additionally, while talking about the braking, he mentions that the braking performance of the Sierra.ev is phenomenal. He adds that even when the brakes are pressed with complete force at a high speed, the vehicle remains completely stable.

Apart from this, he also highlights that the Harrier.ev and the Nexon.ev both have very chunky A-pillars. As a result, while driving on narrow roads or on mountain roads, it becomes very difficult to look out. However, the Sierra.ev has a very thin A-pillar, which improves the visibility. Overall, he mentions that he is very happy with the vehicle and will take it to the dealership for the smaller issues that he has been facing.
A little while ago, the same owner took his Tata Sierra.ev on the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. At the time, after performing the off-roading on the sand dunes, he faced no issues. However, before coming out of the dunes, his vehicle got stuck and had to be rescued by the locals. The owner in that video explained that it happened because his vehicle was parked on a dune for a long time while he was recording his video, and it started to sink in due to the weight.
