Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh was recently acquitted in the sexual harassment case of female wrestlers. Ever since his acquittal, he has been hinting that many people are behind this entire case. Now, in a show of strength, Brijbhushan Singh has said that he has a list of 42 people and institutions who were involved in this. When asked about the motive of these 42 people, Brijbhushan said that they wanted to burn him alive. Brijbhushan Singh reached Ayodhya on Thursday and was given a warm welcome by his supporters at the airport. After this, he went to Hanumangarhi. In the evening, he addressed a program in Gonda where hundreds of his supporters gathered.
Due to this case, the BJP cancelled his 2024 ticket and gave the opportunity to his second son. After being acquitted in the case, Brijbhushan Singh has once again begun claiming the MP seat. After arriving in his hometown of Gonda, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh stated that he deserves to be an MP. However, he also stated that if the party considers it, the public will elect him. Brijbhushan Singh, the former MP from Kaiserganj, stated that he is not above the party.
Whom is Brijbhushan accusing of conspiracy?
Speaking to the media in Gonda, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh said, “A large number of people have come here, they have welcomed me and encouraged me, I congratulate them. I was made to feel as if I had raped someone. There were allegations that we touched him while presenting him with a medal, and our intentions were not right. When he won the wrestling match, we touched him while congratulating him. Similar allegations were made, but the atmosphere was created as if I was a rapist. Just like today, in that fight, millions of people came out in my support.”
He further said, “Opposition parties also joined in this war. Many organizations joined in. I have a list of 42 such people – organizations, parties, and individuals. 42 prominent people did this, some of them are industrialists. The industrialists did the financing. Despite that, I was acquitted with honor. These people wanted to burn me alive, there were demands to catch me and burn me alive. I want to say clearly that they do not have any ideology of their own, they do not believe in themselves, they attack from hiding.”
Brijbhushan Singh also stated that a total of 127 dates were read in this case, and the hearings lasted for three years. He says he didn’t miss a single date. During a rally in Gonda, he also demanded a review of laws to sexual harassment. Brijbhushan said that this is ruining many families and leading to suicide.
