Taking an important step towards strengthening the basic facilities in the gram panchayats of the district, District Magistrate Charchit Gaur has given administrative and financial approval of Rs 141.00 lakh for the construction work of Panchayat Utsav Bhawan in Gram Panchayat Arangi of Development Block Robertsganj.
This construction work will be carried out in accordance with government guidelines. The District Magistrate has directed that the construction work be completed in a completely transparent, quality-oriented, and timely manner. Information boards will be installed at the site, and geo-tagging will be done for the initial, middle, and final stages of construction.
He directed that the physical and financial progress of the work be regularly documented and that construction be carried out in accordance with the approved DPR and technical standards. If any irregularities are found, the concerned organization and officials will be held accountable.
The District Magistrate directed the concerned officials that as per the intention of the government, the construction of the Panchayat Utsav Bhawan should be completed within the stipulated time frame, so that a modern and well-organized building can be made available for social, cultural and administrative activities at the Gram Panchayat level.
