Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior was once again seen arriving with his representatives for further discussions with the club today.
As was the case yesterday, supporters gathered to watch and record Vini Jr’s arrival, with the Brazil international giving them a thumbs-up from inside the car.
Vinicius has now turned up for more meetings with Real Madrid after talks over his future yesterday were described as positive in reports by The Athletic and others.
It is still unclear whether any major fresh update will emerge today, though the final stages could now be approaching for Vinicius to put pen to paper on a new contract at the Bernabeu.
If the agreement is still not fully completed, Arsenal will surely remain alert after Spanish publication AS had earlier reported that the Gunners were confident about their chances.
Interestingly, all of this comes after Vinicius himself removed all his photos and every mention of Real Madrid from his Instagram page.
That may seem to some like a sign that he is getting ready to begin a new chapter in his career, but for now that interpretation perhaps looks a little hopeful from an Arsenal point of view.
Everything currently points to the 26-year-old being nearer to extending his stay with Real than leaving, but if there are any more twists in this story, they are likely to emerge soon.
Arsenal fans would certainly have welcomed a marquee signing like Vinicius, though there are other top-quality options available as well.
