Both gold and silver prices rose on Friday, August 7. Prices of precious metals have risen from the international market to the MCX, keeping buyers and investors closely monitoring the latest rates.

New Delhi: If you’re planning to buy gold or silver today, it’s important to first check the latest prices. Since the beginning of this week, both prices have been fluctuating continuously. While gold saw a rise and silver a slight decline on Thursday, both prices have seen a rebound on Friday, August 7th. Let’s find out what the situation is today in the international market and the domestic futures market.

Both gold and silver traded strongly on the global Comex exchange on Friday morning. By 9 a.m., gold prices had risen 0.34 percent to $4,314.30 per ounce. Silver also showed a strong rally, jumping 1.33 percent to trade at $62.425 per ounce.

MCX also saw a rise

Gold and silver prices remained firm on the domestic futures market, the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold traded at around ₹1.49 lakh per 10 grams. Silver prices rose to around ₹2.27 lakh per kilogram, keeping investors and buyers closely watching the market.

Latest rates in the domestic market

At the time of writing, gold was trading at ₹1,49,202 per 10 grams on the MCX, up ₹344. Silver, on the other hand, rose ₹1,942 to ₹2,27,778 per kilogram at around 9 a.m.

Today’s Gold and Silver Rates

On August 7, 24-carat gold was trading at around ₹149,470 per 10 grams in the Indian market. Meanwhile, the price of 22-carat gold remained around ₹137,675 per 10 grams. The price of 18-carat gold was recorded at approximately ₹112,825 per 10 grams. Silver prices also rose to around ₹228,400 per kilogram. Market experts believe that due to international cues and investor buying, the volatility in precious metals may continue.
