CBSE 10th Answer Sheet 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the post-result process for students who appeared in the Class 10 Board Examination 2026 (Main and Second Board exams). Students can now obtain a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book online. Subsequently, if they have any doubts regarding their marks, they can apply for marks verification and re-evaluation. The Board has clarified that, this time, obtaining the scanned copy is mandatory before applying for marks verification or re-evaluation. Students can complete the entire process via the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

**Post-result process to be conducted in three stages**
CBSE has divided the post-result process into three stages. First, students will obtain a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book. Thereafter, if necessary, they can apply for marks verification and subsequently for re-evaluation.

**Scanned copies available until August 9**
According to the notification issued by the Board on August 5, Class 10 students can apply for a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book from August 5 to August 9, 2026. A fee of ₹300 per subject is applicable. Applications will be accepted only through online mode. After viewing the scanned copy, if a student feels there is an error in their marks, they can apply for marks verification or re-evaluation between August 16 and August 19, 2026. Revising the rules this time, the Board has stated that no student will be able to avail of these two services without first obtaining the scanned copy.

**What are the rules for students who took both exams?**
A separate arrangement has been made for students who appeared in both the Main Board Exam and the Second Board Exam. Such students can obtain scanned copies of answer books for both exams; however, for verification or re-evaluation, they must choose the answer book of only one of the exams. What does marks verification entail?

Marks verification does not mean re-evaluating the answer sheet. This process simply checks whether all answers have been evaluated, if the total marks have been calculated correctly, and if the marks obtained have been accurately recorded in the marksheet; the answers themselves will not be re-assessed.

What is the fee for re-evaluation?
If students wish to raise an objection regarding the evaluation of a specific question, they can apply for re-evaluation. The fee for this is ₹100 per question. Meanwhile, the fee for marks verification of the entire answer sheet is set at ₹300 per subject.

Applications will not be accepted after the deadline
The Board has advised students to apply within the stipulated timeframe. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. CBSE has also clarified that fees paid for scanned copies, verification, and re-evaluation will not be refunded under any circumstances.

When were the results declared?
CBSE declared the results for the Class 10 main board examination 2026 on April 15, 2026. Subsequently, the results for the second board examination were released on July 18, 2026. Now, following the declaration of results, the Board has provided students with the opportunity to view their answer sheets and, if necessary, have their marks verified.
