Lucknow. The preparations of Lucknow Falcons, who are entering the fourth season of UP T-20 League with the intention of winning the title for the first time, have now intensified. The team’s most experienced and one of the most expensive players of the league, captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar joined the team camp on Thursday. However, the practice session of the team could not be held due to the rain throughout the day. Despite this, the players have continued their preparations for the upcoming matches. The team includes talented players like Priyam Garg, Vipraj Nigam, Aaradhaya Yadav, Abhinandan Singh and Kritagya Singh.

Special focus on batting and bowling

Lucknow Falcons Team Director Ritwik Sinha stated that special batting, bowling, and fielding sessions are being held for the players at the camp. In addition, regular practice matches are being conducted to assess their preparation. The coaching staff is working on the players’ technical abilities as well as mental strength, so that the team can perform better in the tournament. The Lucknow Falcons will begin their campaign on August 15th against the Gorakhpur Lions at the Ekana Stadium.

Piyush Chawla will be seen in the commentary panel

Former Indian spinner Piyush Chawla will be seen in the commentary box in the fourth season of the UP T20 League. The UP T20 Governing Council has included him in the commentary panel for the tournament starting on August 14. Apart from Piyush Chawla, former Indian players Chetan Sharma, Saba Karim, Jatin Sapru, Ashok Sharma and Maninder Birla will also be part of the commentary team. Governing Council Chairman Dr. Sanjay Kapoor said that the matches of the tournament will be broadcast in more than 200 countries. The matches will be broadcast live on Jio Hotstar. This time the Hindi and English commentary panels have been finalized, while discussions are ongoing regarding Bhojpuri commentary.
