Lucknow. The young rowing team of Uttar Pradesh is ready to showcase its talent at the national level. Players from Uttar Pradesh will participate in the 27th Sub Junior National Rowing Championship being held at Ravindra Sarovar in Kolkata with the intention of winning medals. The competition is being organized from 5th to 9th August, while the main competitions of various events will start from 7th August. Talented young rowers from all over the country are participating in this national competition. The boys and girls teams of Uttar Pradesh have reached Kolkata for the competition and the players have completed their preparations.

Uttar Pradesh Rowing Association Secretary Sudhir Sharma said that the team has been selected under the chairmanship of Aditya Mishra (retired IPS), Chairman of the Association’s selection committee.
