Betty Bromage, 97, from Cheltenham, has broken her own Guinness World Record as the oldest woman to complete a wing walk. Despite suffering a stroke last year, she completed her sixth wing walk to raise funds for Cheltenham General Hospital. Bromage says staying active keeps life exciting and hopes her achievement inspires others to embrace challenges while supporting worthy causes

At 97 years old, Betty Bromage from Cheltenham has once again made history by becoming the world's oldest woman to complete a wing walk. The remarkable achievement earned her another Guinness World Record, extending a title she had already claimed years earlier.

This latest accomplishment is especially inspiring because it came less than a year after Bromage suffered a stroke. Rather than letting health setbacks define her, she returned to the skies and successfully completed another wing walk—her sixth over the past decade.

Refusing to let age stand in the way

Bromage believes growing older should not mean giving up on adventure. Explaining why she continues to take on daring experiences, she said, "I would get bored of life otherwise."
