According to reports, Vishesh Films is in talks to bring back Pakistani singer Mustafa Zahid’s voice for “Awaarapan 2” to record a new version of “Tera Mera Rishta,” one of the franchise’s most beloved songs. If this collaboration is finalized, it would be a rare occurrence in recent years for a Pakistani playback singer to record a song for a mainstream Hindi film.

The report also claims that the new version of “Tera Mera Rishta” will not be part of the film. The makers will only use it for digital and social media promotion campaigns. The report, citing sources, stated that including the song in the film could create problems with the certification process. Therefore, the makers are planning to release it solely as a promotional track. However, if the deal is finalized, it is expected to be recorded in Dubai.
