All schools in the district to remain shut as heavy rainfall predicted
As per the prediction, heavy rainfall is expected in the region in the coming days.
Considering the potential issues of connectivity, transportation, movement, and the safety of students, the District Collector of Mayurbhanj district decided to close all the educational institutions.
Meanwhile the administration of the state has been watching the situation vigilantly and asking the public to be cautious especially in waterlogging and flood-prone regions.
According to recent reports, Mayurbhanj has also been witnessing school closures during high precipitation and warnings for such situations.
This school holiday has been announced in the district following IMD’s rain forecast for certain parts of Odisha.
