Waterlogging and traffic jams in Delhi-Noida?
The southwest monsoon has once again made a strong entry into Delhi and surrounding areas. Due to the rain, waterlogging has persisted in many areas of Delhi and Noida. Durga Vihar in South Delhi is also waterlogged. Waterlogging is also evident at several locations on Deoli Road. There is also heavy waterlogging under the Sector 95 underpass in Noida.
A lot of water has accumulated under the Mahamaya flyover. An ambulance got stuck in the deep water under the Mahamaya flyover, causing traffic jams. The rain caused long traffic jams on many major roads in Delhi, affecting the speed of vehicles in many areas. According to the IMD, heavy rain is occurring here due to several weather systems simultaneously active in North India. The department warned that heavy rain is likely to continue in the coming days, which will lead to waterlogging in low-lying areas and traffic disruptions.
Strong winds will also blow
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature is expected to be between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius. Winds will also blow at speeds of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour during this period.
