After coming out of the reality show ‘Lockup 2’, TV actress Akanksha Chamola is preparing to remove her husband Gaurav Khanna’s surname ‘Khanna’ from her social media platforms. For this, she has officially sought help from Instagram’s parent company Meta, which has further fuelled the rumours of the complete end of their relationship.

Verification policy became an obstacle, immediate help was sought from Meta

Akanksha Chamola’s current Instagram username is ‘@akankshagkhanna’. Since her account is already verified (blue tick), she is unable to change her username immediately due to Instagram’s strict privacy and verification policies. To address this issue, Akanksha shared a public note on her Instagram story, tagging Meta and the Instagram India team. She wrote that despite several attempts, her username change is not working, and requested the company’s support team to review the technical issue and assist her in changing her username.

The divorce was revealed on the stage of ‘Lockup 2’.

Akanksha Chamola first acknowledged her separation from Gaurav Khanna and the initiation of legal divorce proceedings during the premiere episode of the reality show “Lockup Season 2.” She stated on the show that they had been living separately for the past year and had mutually decided to separate. Initially, viewers thought this might be a stunt or a TRP drama for the show, but after the show, Akanksha once again clarified to the media that the decision between her and “Anupama” fame Gaurav Khanna was final and final.

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola first met during an audition, after which they began dating. They tied the knot on November 24, 2016. After nearly eight years together, they are now parting ways.
