KIMS Hospitals, Thane, has launched various specialty clinics with the aim of making treatment for neurological diseases more effective and comprehensive. These clinics were inaugurated by Bollywood actress Bhagyashree.

Under this new initiative, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders, Stroke, Headache, Vertigo and Imbalance, Neuropathy and Memory Clinics have been launched. All these facilities will be available under one roof, providing patients with expert diagnosis, modern treatment and long-term health management.

KIMS Hospitals has designed these clinics based on scientific evidence and with a multidisciplinary approach in mind. With the joint collaboration of experienced neurologists, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists and other healthcare professionals, patients will be provided with personalized treatment plans, timely diagnosis and consistent follow-up.

On this occasion, Consultant Neurologist Dr. Siddharth Kharkar said that modern treatments are available for diseases like epilepsy and Parkinson’s today, and technologies like Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Epilepsy Surgery can improve the quality of life of many patients. However, he mentioned that there is a need for public awareness about these treatments.

Dr. Nikhil Jadhav said that headache and vertigo clinics will help increase the efficiency of young people and reduce the incidence of falls among senior citizens.
