Chhattisgarh: The first phase of counseling for admission to MBBS and BDS undergraduate courses offered at government and private medical and dental colleges is about to begin. The Commissioner of Medical Education has invited online applications for the 2026 admission year. Interested candidates can apply within the prescribed dates and participate in the counseling process. According to information released by the Commissioner’s office, all candidates are advised to carefully study the Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental, and Physiotherapy Undergraduate Admission Rules, 2025, before applying online. In particular, it will be important to understand the rules to reservations, the counseling process, eligibility, and bond. The rules are available on www.cgdme.in and.
Application Fees:
Category-wise application fees have been determined for the admission process.
Unreserved (UR) and Other Backward Classes (OBC): Rs. 1,000
Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST): Rs. 500
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs): Rs. 10,000
This fee is non-refundable.
Application and Choice Filling Dates
The online application process will commence on August 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM and will continue till August 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
At the same time, the facility of choice filling and locking of college and course will be available from 11 am on August 9, 2026 to 11:59 pm on August 17, 2026.
The Commissioner of Medical Education has appealed to candidates to apply within the deadline and complete the application process well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues.
