Rishabh Pant appealed to CM Pushkar Singh Dhami: Indian cricket team’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant had to appeal for special help from Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami late last night. The cricketer posted a long post on Instagram at 12:46 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, tagging CM Dhami, in which he appealed for help in setting up his base in Uttarakhand and providing land for building his house.

Rishabh Pant wrote in the Instagram post, “Pushkar Singh Dhami (@pushkardhami) Hello Sir, how are you? Being a native of Uttarakhand, it’s been a while since I’ve been here. I’m trying to buy land to relocate from Delhi to Uttarakhand, but I’m unable to find a good, spacious place to live. I love my Uttarakhand very much. I humbly request you to help me buy land, as finding clean land has become very difficult these days.”

Pant further wrote, “Also, there’s a pending land issue that I should have received when I was promoting the state. I want to leave everything behind and return to my native place to contribute to the development of Uttarakhand and live among my hill people. Please look into this matter; it’s been 3 years and I still haven’t received any land. Looking forward to your response. Pushkar Singh Dhami (@pushkardhami) Sir.”

He wrote, “It would be a great honor to represent my state internationally, but if you allow me, I want to purchase land from the government at their fixed rates so I can build my first home in my own state. Please help me with this. Frankly, I’m at a loss for how to do this.” Pant is currently part of the Indian team on its tour of Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, he has been in the news for his social media posts.
