BRS chief KCR has extended financial support to the family of late party leader and former Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy.
KCR has decided to provide a total of Rs 2.25 cr to the family on behalf of the BRS. Peddi Sudarshan Reddy passed away last week at the age of 51 after suffering a heart attack.
As part of the support his two children will receive Rs 1 crore each for their future. Another Rs 25 lakh will be kept for the care of his elderly mother Amruthamma.
KCR also assured the family that the party will continue to support the children's education and their future. The party will also monitor the family's welfare.
The decision was taken after KCR discussed the matter with senior BRS leaders and important leaders from Warangal district.
The BRS leadership has said that the party will continue to stand by Peddi Sudarshan Reddy's family in the future as well.
Peddi Sudarshan Reddy was a senior BRS leader and former MLA from Narsampet. He had been closely associated with KCR and the BRS for many years.
