  • First, check if there is any dust or dirt accumulated on the charging case and charging points of the earbuds.
  • If the earbuds aren’t working, try ‘forgetting the device’ from the Bluetooth connection on your phone and reconnecting.
  • If sound is coming from only one earbud, try resetting the device to re-pair both earbuds.

Nowadays, everyone has a habit of using earbuds . While traveling, eating, working, we need earbuds every time. Usually, one problem is seen in earbuds, that after some time, the earbuds stop working automatically. In fact, such a problem is very common in earbuds. This does not mean that your earbuds are damaged or you need to buy new earbuds. Usually, such problems can occur due to some technical reasons. Therefore, it is necessary to check the old earbuds properly before buying new earbuds.

Dust accumulation on the charging case

Dust can also damage the earbuds if it accumulates on the charging case. This is because when we use the earbuds for a long time, the dirt from our ears and the surrounding dust starts accumulating on the charging point of the earbuds. Apart from this, the charging case in which we keep the earbuds also starts accumulating dust. Due to dust, the metal of the earbuds and the case cannot touch each other. This causes problems while charging the earbuds and they cannot work properly.  (Photo courtesy: Pinterest)

Reset the Bluetooth connection

It is not always necessary that the problem is with the earbuds themselves. Sometimes there can also be some issues with your phone’s Bluetooth connection, due to which the earbuds do not work properly. When the connection between your phone and the earbuds is not working properly, the sound stops coming from the earbuds. To solve this problem, go to the phone’s settings and click on the Bluetooth option. After that, find the name of your earbuds’ device and forget it as a device and then reconnect it. Doing so may make the earbuds work properly again.

Sound coming from only one earbud

Many people have the same problem that when their earbuds get old, sound can only be heard from one side. This is called the single earbud not working problem. This problem occurs when the connection between both the earbuds gets lost. To fix this problem, it is necessary to completely reset the earbuds. Each company has a different method for resetting their earbuds.
