The first season of the popular The Big Bang Theory spin-off series is arriving on HBO Max today. The show serves as a sequel spin-off to Young Sheldon and has become a popular addition to the franchise.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 1 will be available to stream on HBO Max starting Aug. 7, 2026. The sitcom premiered on CBS in October 2024. It is the second of three spin-offs in The Big Bang Theory franchise, following Young Sheldon.
The show centers on the married life of Georgie Cooper and Mandy McAllister. Georgie is the older brother of Sheldon Cooper, the central character of The Big Bang Theory and its prequel series, Young Sheldon.
How Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage expands the Big Bang Theory universe
Montana Jordan and Emily Osment play the lead characters of Georgie and Mandy, respectively. Viewers first saw the characters’ story unfold in the prequel Young Sheldon.
In the fifth season of Young Sheldon, Georgie meets Mandy for the first time, and the pair begin a relationship. However, Mandy is unaware that Georgie is 11 years younger than her when they sleep together. Things get even more complicated when Mandy becomes pregnant and is shocked after learning Georgie’s true age. Mandy decides to keep the baby, and the couple gets married.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage continues their story following the events of Young Sheldon. The show follows the couple as they navigate married life and raise their daughter, CeeCee. Earlier this year, the series was renewed for a third season, which is set to premiere on October 8, 2026.
Meanwhile, fans are also looking forward to The Big Bang Theory’s third spin-off, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. The latest spin-off premiered on July 23, 2026.
