Noida Rain: After the rain, the problem of waterlogging in Noida is once again in the news. A video of heavy waterlogging on the roads of Sector 18, one of the city’s busiest areas, is going viral on social media. The video shows several feet of water on the road, and vehicles can be seen wading through it.

Meanwhile, a woman named Vaishnavi, sitting in a car, took a video of the road conditions and questioned the city’s drainage system. She sarcastically remarked that a boat should have been used instead of a car. She also questioned why such a situation was developing after rain in Noida, known as a planned and developed city.

This video was shared on Instagram by the handle @vaishgupta. In the video, the woman is seen saying that there is so much water on the Sector 18 road that it is difficult to pass through. She added that bikes and other vehicles are driving through the water, causing inconvenience to pedestrians and other drivers.

The woman, taking a dig at the waterlogging, said that perhaps they should have come here by boat instead of a car. She captioned the video, “Is Noida also becoming Gurgaon?” Following the video, social media users also expressed their reactions to the waterlogging. Some called it “Venice, Noida Edition,” while one user wrote, “Planned city, unplanned drainage.”
