Student Protest Justified

Concerns Expressed Over Delimitation

Imran Masood expressed concern over the absence of several MPs from the all-party meeting called by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. He stated that the issue of delimitation is crucial for southern states.

Corrected the Government on Unemployment and Paper Leaks

Supporting Rahul Gandhi’s statement on education and employment, the Congress MP said that simply obtaining a degree is no longer sufficient for youth, as employment opportunities are limited.

He claimed that the decline in production in the country is also impacting employment. He alleged that the government is misleading the public with employment- data.

Demand for early implementation of women’s reservation

Regarding the demand for early implementation of the Women’s Reservation Act, Imran Masood stated that Congress also supports equal representation for women in politics. He said that the law has already been passed, so there should be no delay in implementing it.

Comments on the West Bengal government

Regarding the action taken against some BJP officials in West Bengal and the issuance of show-cause notices, Masood commented on the situation in the state, stating that the law and order situation there remains serious.

Raised questions on the increase in milk prices

The Congress MP also raised questions on the increase in milk prices in Maharashtra. He said that the government should encourage dairy farmers instead of imposing additional financial burden on consumers.

Referring to the alleged gap between milk production and consumption, Masood said that to address this situation, it is necessary to focus on increasing production. He demanded the government strengthen the dairy sector and provide more support to farmers.
