10 thousand unemployed youth will get jobs in Uttarakhand

Dehradun: If you’re looking for a job, get ready. The Technical Education Department will organize job fairs in Garhwal and Kumaon.

The Technical Education Department will organize four major job fairs in the state. Two will be held in Garhwal and two in the Kumaon division. Various multinational companies will provide employment to 10,000 youth. Technical Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat stated this. He said these fairs will be held within the next four months.
The Technical Education Minister stated that the government’s goal is to provide employment to as many youth as possible. So far, 42,000 youth have been employed, including permanent, contract, and outsourced personnel. Fairs will be held in Srinagar and Dehradun in the Garhwal division and Kashipur and Almora in the Kumaon division. These fairs will provide opportunities for students in their final years from polytechnics, ITIs, and government engineering colleges.

Students who have completed vocational courses in school education will also be eligible. Unemployed youth pursuing higher education and those in rural areas will also be able to find employment in private companies. At the meeting, the Minister directed the Technical Education Department to launch a free online registration process within a week. It was informed that the School Education Department and the Higher Education Department will participate in organizing the job fairs. The Employment and Skill Development Department will also be involved.

Instructions to Establish a Media Cell
At the meeting, the Minister directed departmental officials to establish a media cell at the headquarters. This cell’s primary function will be to regularly update the departmental website and social media platforms. It will disseminate information about government schemes, achievements, and development work to the public. The media cell will include three IT and technically skilled personnel.
