Joe Clarke and Sean Dixon score half-centuries
After losing the toss and opting to bat first, Birmingham Phoenix got off to a slow start. Batsmen like Mitchell Owen, Joe Weatherley, and Laurie Evans departed early. Subsequently, Joe Clarke, Phoenix’s most successful batsman in the tournament, along with Sean Dixon, steadied the innings. The two shared a blistering 92-run partnership for the fourth wicket in just 47 balls. Clarke made 73, but young fast bowler Henry Crocombe, playing his first match, had him caught by Liam Livingstone. Sean Dickson made an unbeaten 51, helping Phoenix reach 162 for 4 in 100 balls.

Chasing the target of 163, London Spirit got off to a shaky start when Jonny Bairstow departed on the third ball. However, Liam Livingstone, playing against his former team, and Dewald Brevis, known as Baby AB, thrashed the Phoenix bowlers. Liam Livingstone reached his half-century in just 21 balls, including a 104-meter-long six. Livingstone played a blistering innings of 66 runs in 30 balls.
Meanwhile, Dewald Brevis held one end up, staying until the end, scoring an unbeaten 55 off 31 balls. Both batsmen played cautiously against Usman Tariq and then made the match look easy, scoring quickly. London Spirit won the match by scoring 166 runs for the loss of 3 wickets with 18 balls remaining.
