Food often burns while cooking. This not only spoils the food but also darkens the utensils. Cleaning such utensils becomes difficult. Sometimes, even after hours of scrubbing, a burnt vessel remains completely clean. Some people don’t scrub the inside of the vessel, which gradually darkens it. This is especially true with cookers and pans. If they are not cleaned properly, the shine of the utensils begins to fade. Today, we’re sharing an easy way to clean a blackened cooker from the inside, which will make your cooker shine like new.
How to Clean a Blackened Cooker
To clean the cooker, first remove the whistle and rubber. If the cooker is blackened from the inside, heat water in a pan. Add half a teaspoon of tea leaves and bring to a boil. Strain the water and add a little soap or shampoo. Add 1 tablespoon of baking powder to it and prepare a solution. Now, heat the cooker slightly and pour the prepared solution into the cooker. Swirl the water around a bit and repeat this 1-2 times. If you wish, leave the water in the cooker for a while. Now, scrub the cooker with soap and water. This will remove any black deposits from the inside, leaving the cooker shining like new.
How to Clean a Cooker’s Whistle
Food gets stuck in the cooker’s whistle. Cleaning it is crucial. If the whistle isn’t cleaned properly, pressure won’t build up, and sometimes, if steam doesn’t escape, there’s a risk of the cooker exploding. To clean the cooker’s whistle, make a solution by adding hot water, soap, and baking soda to a bowl. Soak the whistle in it for a while. Now, scrub it with an old toothbrush. The soda will remove any dirt stuck inside the whistle. Similarly, clean the area where the whistle is attached, both inside and out, with the brush.
How to Clean a Cooker’s Rubber
Many people clean the cooker while the rubber is still attached. However, food and water from the rubber accumulate in the area where the rubber is attached. This makes the cooker dirty, and cooking in such a cooker also increases the risk of infection. Place the eraser in the cooker cleaning solution and let it sit for a while. Now, clean it thoroughly with a brush. Also, use the brush to clean the area where the cooker’s eraser is attached. Your entire cooker will be completely clean.
