Healthy Liver: If you want to keep your liver healthy, include these Indian drinks in your diet. In a video shared on Instagram, Dr. Joseph Salhab, a double board-certified physician and internal medicine and gastroenterology expert, explained that maintaining a healthy liver doesn’t always require the use of detox products or supplements. Instead, you can consume these drinks.

Consume These Drinks for a Healthy Liver
Matcha and Green Tea: Matcha and green tea contain antioxidants like catechins. Consuming them in moderate amounts can be part of a healthy diet. They are beneficial for the liver. Consuming them can improve liver enzymes and help reduce fat.

Black Coffee: The bioactive compounds present in black coffee are beneficial for the liver. These compounds protect liver cells from damage and help reduce inflammation and fibrosis in the liver. However, it’s best to avoid adding too much sugar or cream to coffee.

Black Tea: Black tea contains polyphenols and other antioxidant compounds. Consuming black tea in moderation can be part of a balanced diet. Avoid adding added sugar.

Beetroot Juice: Beets contain antioxidant compounds like betalains. Beetroot juice is a way to incorporate nutrients into your diet. Consuming whole beets instead of juice also provides fiber.

Pomegranate Juice: Pomegranate is a fruit rich in polyphenols and antioxidants. It can be consumed as part of a balanced diet. However, it’s best to choose a sugar-free option.

Berry Smoothie: Berries like strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries contain antioxidants and fiber. They can be consumed in smoothies with unsweetened yogurt or milk. Eating whole berries also provides fiber and may be a better option than juice.

Include these drinks in your diet along with following a good diet, keeping obesity under control, avoiding alcohol, and exercising regularly.
